Late last month Pharrell and adidas Originals celebrated the coming of the Indian Holi festival with the release of the “Blank Canvas.” The Blank Canvas was just the first to come from the Holi pack. The remaining “Powder Dye” pairs celebrate the wildly colorful hues of the Hindu festival. Festival goers throw brightly colored powders in the air symbolizing a hope for lasting colors in their lives.
The four silhouettes basically sport the festival theme with a multicolor dye hue across the upper or inside the sole in the case of the NMD “Equality” pair. The pack consist of three adidas NMD Hus, a Tennis Hu and a Stan Smith.
