The bold look of the Air Max Plus was inspired by a sunset in the Florida sky, according to it’s original designer Sean McDowell. Nike continues on with that same inspiration a decade later with the wave of the all new Nike Vapormax Plus. The Nike Vapormax Plus combines the striking design lines from the ’98 Nike Air Max Plus with the Vapormax air sole. The new design will make its debut, just a few weeks ahead of Air Max Day 2018.
The annual Air Max Day celebration brings us the Nike Air VaporMax Plus “Hyper Violet,” which is one of two women exclusive colorways that will be releasing this week.
The “Hyper Violet” gives off a sunset hue dressed in black, red, hyper violet, and blue. The shoe is highlighted by its gradient signature Air Max Plus upper with a blacked out translucent VaporMax sole unit with 3M reflective hits.
